Filing for Bankruptcy
The reason I'm putting this here is for those of you in a similar situation.
Way too much debt, and the inability to pay it.
My Divorce led me onto the path, and my history with ex who totally believed in credit card debt didn't help.
I got to the point where I simply couldn't meet the minimum payments anymore, and we had already cut our spending to beyond the bare bone.
So I've filed for bankruptcy.
Its a done deal. I meet with the trustee next week. After that meeting my debts will be dissolved within 60 days
And I bless the state I live in, Florida. Because of where I live I won't lose my house or any of its contents.
Mind you I am current on my mortgage payments, so that helps.
But Florida is a very generous state when it comes to bankruptcy.

Sorry once again its been so long.
We've had no A/C for ten days and its pure hell on earth.
Here in paradise, life is wonderful, except when you don't have central A/C
We did ok for several days when a cold front moved thru, but the last several days were brutal.
Last night I woke at about 1:30 with my hair and my t shirt soaked in sweat, despite the two fans we had set up to blow on us in the bed.
Got up, made coffee..and stayed up till about 6am
At that point I laid down and fell asleep again until 8
Then the man of my dreams..the man I would give my right arm to at the time, showed up and began work on the A/C unit.
By 11am things were cooling down significantly,,,,as of right now its lovely inside.
What can I say?

Worried about money..thats a huge issue
However Lil One is at college and doing well. Shes joined clubs, is volunteering and in other words is totally unlike me. LOL

Very worried about the tropics
The Tropics are so active its frightening. And right now the current system we are worried about has a forecast path directly for us in So Fla...
Prayers welcome and encouraged. The last thing I need right now is a Hurricane.
Finances are so bad, Lil one just left for college and we are broke beyond broke.
